We have had LOTS of wonderful new students join our community over the past three weeks. That got me thinking... how cool would it be if everyone had a picture of the first day of their Aikido journey?

Yesterday Sarah D (right of me) and Goodie G (left) participated in Aikido 101. They took the plunge, donned the uniform, and then got back on the mat for some training and camaraderie we all enjoy at Sunday Open Mat. The smiles in this pic capture the mood perfectly!

Please keep look out for ALL our new friends: Cecilia, James, ( <-- adults) and Kairo, Justin, Eli, Anna, and Lukas ( <--kids). Oh and both of Lukas' parents Tim and Kiana will join us in a few days as well!
